The President of Italy is solemnly welcomed at Koksaroy

Today, on November 10, an official welcoming ceremony was held for the President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, who is on an official visit to the country at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev. This was reported by the President's press service.

It was reported that the President of Italy and his daughter, the First Lady of the country, were received by the President of Uzbekistan and his wife. An honor guard lined up in the square in front of the headquarters, and a military band played the anthems of the two countries.

The heads of state passed the honor guard, welcomed the members of the official delegations, and after taking a photo together, entered into high-level negotiations.

Let us remind you that earlier, the President of the Republic of Italy, Sergio Mattarella, and his daughter, Laura Mattarella, accompanied by the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Aripov, visited the "New Uzbekistan" park and laid flowers at the base of the Independence Monument.

In addition, President Sergio Mattarella is scheduled to visit the cities of Samarkand and Khiva and get acquainted with the cultural and historical heritage of Uzbekistan.
