In light of the escalating conflict between Iran and Israel, Uzbek citizens residing in Israel have received another urgent warning. This was reported by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Tel Aviv.
The embassy noted that Israel’s Home Front Command continues to issue official safety instructions. Uzbek nationals are strongly urged to strictly comply with these directives.
According to the embassy, a red alert indicates an immediate and dangerous threat. In such cases, individuals must stay close to the nearest protected area (bomb shelter or mamat) and limit their movements. When sirens are heard, people must immediately enter a shelter and remain there until an all-clear notification is issued.
A blue alert, on the other hand, signals that the threat has passed and it is safe to leave the shelter. During this time, remaining near protected areas is no longer necessary.
Citizens are also reminded to always follow the instructions of official authorities and to familiarize themselves in advance with the locations of nearby shelters.
It is worth recalling that the Israeli Embassy in Tashkent recently issued a security advisory for Israeli citizens in Uzbekistan. The advisory recommended avoiding the public display of Jewish or Israeli symbols, refraining from sharing personal location details on social media, avoiding events related to Israel or Judaism, cooperating with local security services, and remaining alert in public areas.
