Madrimov can fight with the number 3 boxer of the WBA rating

Eddie Hearn, the head of the Matchroom promotion company, wants to organize the next fight of the professional boxer Israil Madrimov from Uzbekistan against the British James Metcalfe, who is ranked 3rd in the WBA ranking.  The athlete himself confirmed this to QALAMPIR.UZ.

According to him, Madrimov may have his next fight against the British James Metcalf, who is ranked 3rd in the WBA ranking in the super welterweight (69.8 kg).

Currently, a proposal has been sent to the WBA to determine the status of this fight, and if it is approved, there is a high probability that it will be for the belt.

For information, Madrimov had 10 fights during his professional career, won 9 of them (6 knockouts) and had a technical draw in one.  He fought in the middleweight category in his last fight, defeating Rafael Igbokwe on points.

James Metcalf is quite experienced in this regard.  He fought 27 fights, won 25 of them (15 by knockout) and lost 2 times.  He beat Denis Hogan on points in his last fight.
