Uzbek professional boxer Isroil Madrimov might have his next fight in December of this year, according to "Boxingnews 24."

Madrimov's promoter, Eddie Hearn, revealed that Turki Al Ash-Sheikh is interested in having Madrimov fight on December 21 at the Kingdom Arena complex in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The main event of the evening will feature a bout between Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk and British fighter Tyson Fury.

Hearn noted that Turki Al Ash-Sheikh contacted him and Madrimov, expressing his desire to include Madrimov on the card scheduled for December 21.

Eddie Hearn also mentioned a potential fight between Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford.

“Crawford only wants to fight Canelo Alvarez. No one else is of interest to him. He is not considering a fight with Virgil Ortiz either. Madrimov will not be his next opponent. Terence definitely won’t fight Jaron Ennis. Who else is there? Sebastian Fundora? No, Crawford is looking for a big-money fight. He is focused solely on Saul Alvarez (Canelo),” said Hearn.

For reference, Uzbek boxer Isroil Madrimov faced American Terence Crawford in a high-profile bout on August 3 at the BMO Stadium arena in Los Angeles, which has a capacity of 22,000. Madrimov lost to the legendary Crawford by points (115-113, 115-113, 116-112) in their most recent match.

Earlier, Isroil Madrimov was ranked alongside the legendary Crawford in The Ring rating.
