Spain appoints new ambassador to Uzbekistan

On February 18, the newly appointed Ambassador of Spain to Uzbekistan, Ricardo Martinez Vazquez, presented a copy of his credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov. The minister shared the news on his Telegram channel.

“We have received the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador of Spain to Uzbekistan, Mr. Ricardo Martinez Vazquez. The dynamics of bilateral relations between our countries are clearly showing an upward trend,” Saidov wrote.

During the meeting, both sides acknowledged the significant opportunities for cooperation that the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Spain should jointly pursue.

“We wish the Ambassador success in developing new areas of collaboration between Uzbekistan and Spain and in carrying out effective diplomatic activities,” Saidov added.

It is worth noting that earlier, Christopher Duggan, the newly appointed Canadian Ambassador to Uzbekistan, also presented his credentials to Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov.
