Yesterday, on November 29, a 45-year-old man, born in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, tragically took his own life by throwing himself from the bridge at the intersection of Mustaqillik Avenue and Kichik Halka Yuli Street in the Mirzo Ulugbek District. Hayat Shamsutdinov, the press secretary of the Prosecutor General, informed QALAMPIR.UZ about this incident.

According to the deceased's brother, the man had arrived in Tashkent on November 26 of this year in search of employment. The brother accompanied him to an interview with the foreman of the construction facility owned by "TA" LLC, where the deceased was supposed to work. Unfortunately, due to illness, the deceased could not start working.

On November 29, around 06:00, the brothers shared breakfast at their temporary residence. During this time, the deceased informed his brother that he intended to return to the Republic of Karakalpakstan and seek employment there. Subsequently, the deceased's brother left for work.

Hayat Shamsutdinov mentioned that investigations are underway concerning this tragic situation.

It is worth noting that in a previous incident in Tashkent, a man took his own life by jumping from the 15th floor. In another case, a man committed suicide by throwing himself under a moving train at the "Qoyliq" station of the Tashkent metro.
