Iraqi business delegation visits Uzbekistan

On January 13, a delegation comprising around 150 representatives of major Iraqi businesses, led by Iraq’s Minister of Trade Atheer Dawood Salman al-Ghurairy, arrived in Tashkent on a working visit to discuss cooperation with Uzbekistan.

The visit was organized at the initiative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Uzbekistan’s Embassy in Kuwait. Its main purpose is to directly study the operations of enterprises in the construction, electrical engineering, pharmaceutical, food, furniture, and automotive industries, as well as to assess product quality and production capacity.

To allow business representatives to observe production processes firsthand, visit facilities on site, and evaluate real opportunities, tours of major companies located in various parts of the capital were organized.

The delegation is scheduled to remain in Uzbekistan until January 16.
