Individuals offering driver's licenses without exams were arrested

3824Authorities have detained individuals in Tashkent and Kashkadarya regions who promised to issue driver's licenses without requiring exams, as reported by the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the General Prosecutor's Office.
In one case, an employee of "A.Q." LLC driving school, identified as J.J., allegedly promised four citizens that he could obtain driver's licenses through his contacts at the Syrdarya Region Internal Affairs Bureau. In exchange, J.J. received a total of $1,800 from a citizen named U.J. He was caught red-handed during the operation.
Another case in Shahrisabz revealed that a citizen, M.A., fraudulently obtained $300 and 2.3 million sums, promising to secure a driver's license for N.O. through acquaintances at the Kashkadarya Regional Police Department. Authorities confiscated 1.6 million sums from the funds during the operation, following proper procedural protocols.
Criminal cases have been initiated under Article 168 (fraud) and Articles 28, 211 (bribery) of the Criminal Code, and investigations are currently underway.
Previously, similar incidents were reported in Syrdarya, Navoi, and Tashkent regions, where individuals offered to issue driver's licenses without requiring attendance at training courses.
