For the first time, two universities in Uzbekistan enters the TOP-1000 of world universities

On June 5, the prestigious QS Quacquarelli Symonds, an international rating agency based in the United Kingdom, announced the results of the QS World University Rankings 2025.

In this ranking, two higher education institutions from Uzbekistan made their debut: the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers National Research University secured the 547th spot, while Mirzo Ulugbek National University of Uzbekistan was placed in the 781-790 range.

TIQXMMI National Research University demonstrated strong performance across six out of nine indicators used by the QS Quacquarelli Symonds methodology. It ranks among the top 300 universities globally and is one of the top three universities in Central Asia in terms of academic prestige.

Notably, it ranked 144th globally for the "Teacher-student ratio" indicator. For "Academic Reputation," TIQXMMI placed 290th worldwide and third in Central Asia, and it ranked 456th in the "Reputation among Employers" indicator.
