A 19-year-old man who resisted officers from the Internal Affairs body was imprisoned for 15 days

A video showing a citizen being taken away by officers of the Internal Affairs Agency was circulated on social networks. The Internal Affairs Department of the city of Tashkent gave an official response to the situation.
It is noted that on 5 February of this year, the citizen, born in 2004 while in front of the “Malika” shopping complex in Shaikhontohur district, did not fulfill the legal demands of the employees of the Internal Affairs Agency and resisted them.
In connection with this situation, an administrative report was drawn up against the citizen under Article 194 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility (“Failure to fulfill the legal requirements of an employee of internal affairs bodies”).
“He was sentenced to 15 days of administrative imprisonment by the Shaikhontohur district court on criminal cases,” the report says.
