Furqat Rahimov also leaves the Administration

Furqat Rahimov Jalalovich was released from the position of head of the branch of the Executive Office of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the preparation of analytical materials and coordination of the activities of administrative units.  This was announced by the press secretary of the President, Sherzod Asadov.

According to information, Furqat Rahimov worked as the mayor of Samarkand from August 21, 2017 to May 23, 2019.

From May 23, 2019 to May 27, 2020, he worked as the Deputy Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade.

From 2020 to 2022, he was the head of the Cabinet of Ministers’ Secretariat for Investments, Export Support and Foreign Economic Relations.

From November 1, 2022, he was appointed to the position of the head of the department for the preparation of analytical materials and coordination of activities of the Presidential Administration.
