Saudi Arabian club "Al-Nasr" may participate in the "Brotherhood Cup", according to the club's commercial director, Jordi Durante, who spoke to RIA Novosti.

Dmitry Gafin, chairman of the board of directors of Moscow’s "Dynamo", has extended an invitation to "Al-Nasr", where five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo currently plays, to take part in the tournament.

“We are always looking for opportunities for international cooperation. Russia is a major market, having hosted the World Cup. There are many passionate football fans here. We are open to considering and evaluating any opportunity, but it takes time to make a decision, and we must find the right moment in "Al-Nasr"’s calendar,” Durante said.

Several Russian clubs have expressed a positive stance on "Al-Nasr"’s potential participation in the Brotherhood Cup. In particular, the general director of CSKA also welcomed the idea of inviting the Saudi club to the tournament.

The "Brotherhood Cup" is a traditional summer tournament, serving as an important preseason competition for participating teams. Russian clubs primarily compete in the event. In the 2023 edition, only CSKA and "Dynamo" took part, while in 2024, Serbian clubs "Partizan" and "Belgrade" joined the Moscow-based teams.
