On February 1, a Centrum-Air airline flight from Medina to Fergana made an emergency landing in Turkmenistan, according to reports from Flightradar. The flight, C6-3336, had crossed the Iranian border when it deviated from its original route and was redirected to an alternative airport in Merv, Turkmenistan. The plane circled the airport before successfully landing at 09:08 Tashkent time.

Sources suggest that the diversion occurred due to a problem with one of the aircraft’s engines. However, the airline's official website has not provided any further comments on the incident, and the aircraft remains in Turkmenistan.

This is not the first such emergency in recent months. On January 15, an Uzbekistan Airways A-320 aircraft, flying from Bukhara to Moscow, also experienced an engine failure while approaching its destination. The crew requested priority landing, and a blue alert was issued at Vnukovo airport.
