Man stabbed, another run over during conflict in Fergana

Reports of a stabbing incident in a parking lot in the Uchkoprik district of the Fergana region have been circulating on social networks. The regional Department of Internal Affairs has provided details about the situation.

According to the report, the incident took place on October 1 of this year at the district bus station. Citizen I.I., born in 2000, sought to speak with his acquaintance S.Q., born in 1998, regarding a previous dispute between them. He arrived at the location with M.A., and a fight broke out. During the altercation, S.Q. was injured with a bladed weapon.

S.Q.’s acquaintance, B.M., intervened in the incident and ran over M.A. with his Equinox vehicle. As a result, both S.Q. and M.A. were hospitalized.

A criminal case has been initiated under Article 25.97 of the Criminal Code (intentional murder). Measures have been taken to detain those involved in the incident.

It is worth noting that earlier in Samarkand, a man was arrested for killing a lynx and attempting to bury its body in a sack at a cemetery.
