Fergana found that a businessman stole gas worth 1.8 billion soms

With the help of the heads of the branch of the gas supply company of the Toshlok district of the Fergana region, it was found that a businessman illegally used natural gas in large quantities.  This was reported by the department for Combating Economic Crimes under the General Prosecutor’s Office.

In the pre-investigation conducted by the department’s Fergana regional department, the responsible persons of the Fergana city branch of the gas distribution branch “Hududgaz Fergana” “T.Q.” found that Toshloq district, “Anjil” neighborhood belonging to LLC, allowed the oil product processing workshop to be connected to the natural gas network contrary to the established requirements.  As a result, the enterprise caused 1.8 billion soms of damage to the interests of the state and society.

In connection with this situation, criminal proceedings have been initiated under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code and investigations are underway.
