A man in the Fergana region has killed his wife and two young children. This was confirmed to QALAMPIR.UZ by Hayot Shamsutdinov, spokesperson for the Prosecutor General’s Office.
The murder took place yesterday, 29 November, in the Kuva district. The 34-year-old father intentionally killed his 31-year-old wife, as well as their 5-year-old daughter and 1-year-old son.
A criminal case has been opened under Article 97 of the Criminal Code (premeditated murder). The suspect has been detained in accordance with procedural rules, and investigative actions are underway.
Earlier, it was reported that in the Fergana region’s Uzbekistan district, a 34-year-old man killed his wife and 2-year-old daughter over alimony disputes. In another case, a 71-year-old man in Surxondaryo region killed his wife because she did not prepare lunch.
