A citizen who fell into a 40-meter well in the Fergana region was successfully rescued, according to the regional Emergency Situations Department.

It was reported that Kh.D., born in 1977, was working in the well, located in the courtyard of a house on Sohibkor Street in Fergana district, when his personal electric "winch" failed, causing him to get stuck at the bottom of the well.

Immediately, he contacted the Federal Emergency Situations Department for assistance. Rescuers from the regional rescue squad, who specialize in special tasks, arrived at the scene promptly.

Thanks to the efforts of the rescuers, the citizen was freed and, fortunately, did not suffer any injuries.

"No emergency medical care was provided, as he is in good health," the report stated.

It is also worth mentioning that earlier in the Andijan region, a 1-year-old girl fell into a toilet. Rescuers from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) used specialized rescue equipment to pull the girl from the toilet and save her life.
