In Fergana, 10 governors faced disciplinary action

Khayrulla Bozorov, the governor of Fergana region, penalized 10 district and city governors, as announced in an official order.

The review of export indicators for agricultural and industrial products in the region revealed that certain city and district administrations were falling short of meeting the export targets for January-February 2024.

Specifically, Fergana city achieved 65.2%, Quvasoy city 62.8%, Qoqon city 65.4%, Dangara district 64.8%, Yozyovon district 53.1%, Rishton district 50.3%, Sokh district 24.5%, Toshloq district 43.1%, Fergana district 41.3%, while the Uzbekistan district managed only 71.2%.

Consequently:

- Mayor of Fergana, V. Nazarov;
- Governor of Quvasoy, Z. Toraqulov;
- Mayor of Qoqon, M. Usmonov;
- Mayor of Dangara district, Sh. Tojihakimov;
- D. Jalilov, governor of Yozyovon district;
- Governor of Rishton district, B. Kholiqov;
- S. Sayidmusayev, governor of Sokh district;
- Mayor of Toshlok district, A. Joraboyev;
- Fergana district governor, Kh. Inomov;
- A fine equivalent to 15% of the average monthly salary was imposed on the mentioned governors, including the governor of the Uzbekistan district, Sh. Yuldashev.

"The General Administration of Regional Economy and Finance is tasked with recovering the fine from the monthly salary of the city and district governors as per established procedures and informing the regional governor of the outcome. Deputy governor of the region, N. Mamajonov, is assigned to oversee the implementation of this directive," stated the order.

It's worth mentioning that previously, Botir Zaripov, the governor of Bukhara region, imposed disciplinary action known as a warning against Hayot Davlatov, the governor of Kogon city.
