Khayrullo Bozorov was confirmed as governor of Fergana region

4291On November 6, Khayrullo Hayitboyevich Bozorov was officially confirmed as the governor of the Fergana region during the first session of the seventh convocation of the Fergana Regional Council of People's Deputies. This confirmation was announced by the regional government's press service.
During the session, Erkinjon Nuraliyev, chairman of the Regional Election Commission, presented the results of the October 27 elections.
Additionally, Kholmatjon Odilovich Komilov, representing the 44th Toshloq district, was elected as the chairman of the Fergana Regional Council of People's Deputies.
The session saw the registration of party groups for the Regional Council, and approval of the Council’s Regulations and the Standing Committees’ regulations.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev nominated Bozorov, and the Council unanimously approved his appointment. Bozorov, born on January 16, 1976, in the Chortok district of Namangan, graduated from the Namangan Industrial-Technological Institute in 1997, specializing in economics and management.
This confirmation follows the recent appointments of governors in Samarkand, Khorezm, Navoi, Jizzakh, Bukhara, Tashkent region, Tashkent city, and Kashkadarya region.
