Tomorrow, 16 October, some streets in the center of Tashkent will be temporarily closed. This was reported by the press service of the Department of Internal Affairs of Tashkent city.
On 16 October, a 3km "Business Run" marathon will be held in the capital. In this regard, the following streets will be closed from 06:00am to 11:00am on 16 October:
• From Islam Karimov Street - along Afrosiyob Street to Sharaf Rashidov Street;
• From Afrosiyob Street - along Sharaf Rashidov Street to Islam Karimov Street;
• From Sharof Rashidov Street — along Islam Karimov Street to Afrosiyab Street.
"We recommend drivers to use detours and apologize for the inconvenience," the department said in a statement.
