Iran canceled the visa regime for the citizens of Uzbekistan

Iran has unilaterally approved the cancellation of the visa regime with 33 countries, including Uzbekistan. Iran's Minister of Cultural Heritage, Crafts, and Tourism, Izzatullah Zargami, announced this decision."

"The Ministry of Tourism's proposal to cancel visas with 32 countries was government-approved, and we unilaterally revoked visas based on our established priorities," stated the minister during a press briefing.

Consequently, Iran has unilaterally canceled visas for citizens of three Central Asian countries: Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan.

Tehran unilaterally lifted visa requirements for citizens from 17 Asian countries, six African countries, five European countries, and five other Latin American countries. Notable among the Asian countries are Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Lebanon, Tunisia, Malaysia, and Singapore.

It's important to note that previously, Afghans were prohibited from residing in 16 provinces of Iran.
