The date and address of Ergashev's championship fight is changed

Earlier, we reported that, by order of the International Boxing Federation (IBF), Sabriel Matias from Puerto Rico would defend his championship belt against our compatriot Shahjakhan Ergashev. This fight was initially scheduled to take place on November 4 this year in Los Angeles, USA.

However, according to Mike Koppinger, a well-known ESPN journalist, the Matias-Ergashev fight will now occur on November 25 in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. On that day, Sabriel Matias from Puerto Rico will defend his IBF belt against the Uzbekistani boxer in the welterweight category.

This fight will be part of the undercard for the David Benavides - Demetrius Andrade match.
Let us remind you that TGB Promotions won the promotional rights to the Ergashev-Matias fight. Matias is set to earn 357 thousand US dollars from the upcoming fight, while the representative of Uzbekistan will earn 153 thousand US dollars.
