The Deputy Minister of Energy also left his job

Deputy Minister of Energy Sherzod Khodzhayev was relieved of his post.  This was announced in the presence of the President at a meeting on the supply of energy resources.

The fact is that today a meeting is being held regarding the measures taken to ensure the continuous supply of energy resources to the population in the winter season.  Such a decision was made because he had assessed the situation in advance and had not adequately prepared for the winter season.

In the Zangiota, Tashkent, Bulagboshi, Khojaabad, Uchkurgan, Koson, Karmana, Kamashi, Shafirkon, Khojayli, Denov, Sharaf Rashidov, Pastdargom, Fergana, Pakhtabad, Hazorasp districts and also Samarkand and Namangan, it was shown that the mayors of Fergana, Gulistan, Chirchik did not feel responsible and did not draw any conclusions from the cold days a month ago.

Also, the governor of the Tashkent region, Zoyir Mirzayev, was strictly warned, and the mayor of Chirchik was given a rebuke.

Mustafoyev, the head of "Regional Electric Networks", Normatov, the head of "Uzbek transport gas" and Abdullayev, the head of "Uzbek oil gas" were also released from their positions, and they were given a 3-month probationary period in their acting positions.

"If some of the financial issues of network enterprises were solved in time, if a part of their income was invested and directed to the renewal of networks, the situation would not be so difficult," it was said at the meeting.

Now it has been decided that there will be a completely different system - strategic enterprises will be transferred to the Agency for Strategic Reforms.

We remind you that a little while ago, at this meeting, the mayor of Tashkent Jahangir Ortiqkhojayev was also fired, and it was announced that the mayor of 3 districts of Tashkent will be investigated by the State Security Committee.
