In Uzbekistan, single elderly individuals in need of care, elderly people living alone, and persons with disabilities are now entitled to use city public transport free of charge. This provision is part of the Law "On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislations of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Connection with the Improvement of the System of Social Services and Assistance," which was approved at the 55th plenary session of the Senate.

According to the law, a medical institution's conclusion is not required to account for the time spent caring for elderly individuals who have reached the age of 80 and need external care. Additionally, the law stipulates that single elderly people, elderly people living alone, and persons with disabilities are exempt from paying the state duty when replacing a lost or invalid identification ID card or biometric passport.

The tax system also includes provisions for funds aimed at supporting single elderly people, elderly people living alone, and persons with disabilities.

It is also worth noting that the Senate recently approved the Law "On Approving the Business Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan."
