Hereinafter the contracts of young people who are in correspondence education in the higher education institutions will be paid

The agency for Youth Affairs will henceforth pay the contract payments of the 500 most active youth leaders who are admitted to the correspondence study type of universities every year.  This was stated by the president of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev today 30 June, at a festive event held in the park “New Uzbekistan” on the occasion of Youth Day.

“A “reserve of young leaders” will be formed, 30% of which will be replenished at the expense of youth leaders.  I see future the khokims (governors) and ministers, heads of big banks and companies, state and non-state organizations, political parties in the form of youth leaders!”- said the Head of State.

According to the president, from this year 36 sports federations and 274 sports schools will work in cooperation with neighborhoods, lyceums, colleges, and technical colleges in their territory. Football, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, cycling, running, chess, and other sports teams will be established on every street, in every district, school, college, and technical school.
