Now school graduates can choose up to three academic lyceums

School graduates in Uzbekistan are given the opportunity to choose up to three academic lyceums. This was announced on the portal for discussion of projects of regulatory and legal documents.
It is noted that the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation has submitted for discussion the draft decision of the Cabinet of Ministers “On improving the procedure for admission, transfer, restoration and expulsion of students to academic lyceums.”
According to the decision, when registering, applicants are given the opportunity to choose one suitable direction of up to three academic lyceums with the same language of instruction, and in the region of the applicant’s choice (the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the regional center or the city of Tashkent ) participates in the organized entrance tests.
In addition, it is expected that admission privileges to academic lyceums will be applied to the winners of science Olympiads, competitions and those who have mastered general education subjects.
