Guards who report violations are hereinafter rewarded

Watchdog services of government bodies and organizations can be rewarded for reporting violations.  The relevant procedure was approved by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers on 14 October of this year.  "The procedure for notifying the internal affairs bodies and the units of the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan about offenses and incidents of state bodies and organizations of departmental guard units and cooperation." was defined in the statute.

According to the regulation, when crimes, violations, suspects, wanted persons, accidents, fires, and other adverse events are detected in state bodies and organizations, guard units:

• immediately inform the authorities of the Department of Internal Affairs;
• Ensures the preservation of crime and incident traces until the arrival of the Department of Internal Affairs and the National Guard;
• Provides information about the incident to the employees of the Department of Internal Affairs and the National Guard;
• eliminates natural and man-made emergencies, and saves people.
Guard units will also have to report the incident to the Department of Internal Affairs and the National Guard by phone.
According to the regulation, when there is no phone or it is not working, other types of communication, for example, the following signals are used:
• "Hold" - one long signal;
• "Help" - two short beeps.

When the wanted persons who have committed crimes and violations are identified through the notification of the guard units, when the situation threatening public safety is eliminated, the employees of the guard units can be awarded a one-time monetary reward and valuable gifts.
