Eldor Shomurodov may remain in Italy amid transfer talks

Uzbek striker Eldor Shomurodov, currently on the transfer list of AS Roma, may remain in Italy, with Serie A club Cremonese reportedly showing interest in him. This was reported by "Roma Press".

According to the publication, Roma is in negotiations with several clubs aiming to finalize a transfer deal before the June 30 deadline. In recent days, along with Turkish club İstanbul Başakşehir, Cremonese has emerged as one of the contenders for the 29-year-old forward.

Shomurodov is also attracting attention from clubs in France. In the second half of last season, under the guidance of Claudio Ranieri, he scored 7 goals and provided 5 assists, boosting his profile in the European transfer market.

Earlier reports stated that French club Rennes, through sporting director Luca Desire, had submitted an official inquiry to Roma regarding Shomurodov.

Turkish side İstanbul Başakşehir has also reportedly sent an offer and is keen to bring the striker to Istanbul.
