Gulnoza Matniyozova, a member of the Uzbekistan national judo team, has officially concluded her professional sports career following the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics.

She achieved victories against competitors from three national teams in the mixed team program at the Olympic Games in France, thus ending her sports career on a high note.

Matniyozova represented Uzbekistan at the Rio 2016, Tokyo 2020, and Paris 2024 Summer Olympics, as well as at three Asian Games, world championships, "Grand Slam," and Grand Prix events. In 2021, she was honored with the "Fame" medal.

Earlier reports indicated that Uzbekistani judokas put up a strong fight against South Korean competitors in the bronze medal match of the team event at the ongoing Paris Olympics but were ultimately defeated with a score of 4:2. Consequently, Uzbekistan's judokas secured three medals in individual events and concluded their participation in the Olympics.
