Uzbek judokas collected 4 medals at the international competition

The "Grand Slam" judo competition hosted by Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, has ended. Representatives of Uzbekistan, who took part in the competition, won a total of 4 medals.

Among women, in -52 kg, Sita Kadamboyeva won a bronze medal, and Diyora Keldiyorova won a gold medal. Among the men, Alisher Yusupov won a silver medal and Shahrukh Bakhtiyorov won a bronze medal in the +100 kg weight category.

Athletes who won the tournament and received prizes also gained important rating points on the way to the Summer Olympics, which will be hosted by the city of Paris in 2024.

For information, the Uzbek team took 5th place overall in the competition.  The hosts of the competition, having collected 4 gold and 2 silver medals, won 1st place in the "Grand Slam" competition.
