Khusanov transfer battle heats up with “Newcastle”, “Man City”, and “Real Madrid”

"Newcastle" has entered the race to sign Abdukodir Khusanov, the Uzbekistan national team defender currently playing for French club "Lens", according to "Goal.com".  

The report indicates that the English club is prepared to offer "Lens" a higher fee for Khusanov than other interested teams. "Newcastle", owned by Saudi sheikhs, is reportedly willing to spend over 20 million euros to secure the 20-year-old Uzbek defender.  

As the wealthiest club in the world, "Newcastle" is engaged in direct negotiations for Khusanov’s transfer. However, "Lens" is seeking 40 million euros for the sale of the player.  

Notably, "Manchester City" and "Real Madrid" are also in contention for Khusanov. Current reports suggest that "Manchester City is the frontrunner to sign him, while PSG has shown serious interest in acquiring the defender as well.  

Previously, it was reported that "Real Madrid" had joined the competition to sign Khusanov.
