Increased work hours for Public Service Centers due to replacement of drivers’ licenses

8586The number of visitors to Public Service Centers is increasing with the completion of the first stage of the replacement of drivers' licenses in Uzbekistan, which is only a few days before 31 March.
With a view to creating additional amenities for citizens in the provision of this public service, officials of the Public Service Agency established «LAST CLIENT» regime in public service centers of Mirabad, Mirzo, Ulugbek, Yashnabad, Yakkasai, Sergeli, Chilanzar and Uchtepa, Shaykhantahur, Almazar, Yunusabad districts of Tashkent on 21 February, 2022. For these, the work schedule has been revised in accordance with the labor legislation.
At the same time, drivers can use the service via PSC from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 21:00 and on Saturdays from 09:00 to 13:00.
For reference, the replacement of the driving license with the new model has been extended from last December to 31 December 2022 and the process will be carried out in 4 phases.
Old driving licenses shall be replaced by new ones as follows:
Issued before 2010 – until 31 March 2022;
Issued in 2010-2012. — by 30 June 2022;
Issued in 2013-2015. — by 30 September 2022;
Issued after 2015 – until 31 December 2022.
It should be noted that in order to replace the old license for the new one, one can apply not only to the PSC's, but also directly to the units of the authorized body Traffic Safety Department of the General Directorate of Internal Affairs.
