Head of the Main Directorate of the State Security Service of the Republic of Uzbekistan passes away

Colonel Agzam Fakhriddinovich Izbosarov, who served as Head of the Main Directorate of the State Security Service of the Republic of Uzbekistan, has passed away. The State Security Service of the Republic of Uzbekistan confirmed this.

Agzam Izbosarov previously served as Head of the Communications Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan. He later held the position of First Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC "Territorial Electric Networks" for the Operation of Electric Networks.

For reference, Agzam Izbosarov held the degrees of Candidate of Technical Sciences (PhD) and Doctor of Technical Sciences (DSc). In 2005, he was awarded the honorary title "Honored Communications Worker of the Republic of Uzbekistan," and in 2021, he received the Order of "Mardlik."

It should be noted that on March 24, Surat Mirhojievich Mirkosimov, the first Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to India, passed away after a long illness.
