Davletov resigned as Minister of Justice

By the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ruslanbek Kuroltayevich Davletov was appointed to the position of adviser to the President on social and political development issues, and in connection with this, he was released from the position of Minister of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Davletov was born on 1 June 1980, in the Shavat district of the Khorezm region.  Education - university, lawyer, economist.

He graduated from Warwick University in Great Britain in 2001, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (Master's degree) in 2003, Tashkent State University of Economics in 2007, and the State and Society Building Academy under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2010.

Ruslanbek Davletov started his career in 2001 as a leading specialist in the State Committee for Eliminating Monopolies and Development of Competition.  Later, he worked as a chief specialist and acting head of the department on this committee.

He has been working as the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan since 14 September 2017.  Since 2 June 2018,  Davletov has been serving as the President of the Basketball Federation of Uzbekistan.
