Videos and photos of Fazliddin Goibnazarov, the winner of the Rio Olympics, out hunting were circulated on social networks. The State Ecology Committee announced that it had conducted an inquiry into the situation.
It was determined that on 30 December 2022, citizen H.U. was hunting birds. It was also confirmed that sportsman F. Goyibnazarov took part in this hunt and video and pictures posing with their prey were taken.
During the studies, it was found that the citizen H.U., who carried out the hunt, had documents related to hunting, and that he is registered with the hunting society.
“However, it was revealed that he grossly violated the hunting rules by not following the established norms during the hunting process and thereby he harmed the nature,” The report of the committee said.
It is noted that according to Article 90 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility, a fine and the amount of damage caused to the animal world were calculated, and the hunting weapons were handed over to the Internal Affairs Department of the Boka district of the Tashkent region in the prescribed manner.
Also, regarding the situation, explanatory letters were received from all participants about the fact that such a situation will not be repeated again, and a preventive interview was held.
