Hot and mostly dry weather will persist in most regions of Uzbekistan over the weekend. Short-term rain and thunderstorms are possible only in some regions. This was stated in a forecast issued by Uzhydromet.
Today, June 26, the weather will be slightly cloudy and variable in some places across much of the country during the day. No precipitation is expected. Short-term rain and thunderstorms are possible only in some areas of Tashkent region and the Fergana Valley.

On Sunday, June 28, unstable weather will be observed in the northwestern parts of the country. Rain is expected in some areas of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region, with heavy precipitation possible in certain places. No precipitation is expected in the rest of the country.
Wind will blow at 7-12 m/s and may strengthen to 13-18 m/s in some areas. In northern and desert areas, wind may occasionally increase to 20-22 m/s and cause dust storms.

On Sunday, temperatures are expected to rise to 42 degrees in some areas and to 43-44 degrees in southern regions. In the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region, temperatures will mainly be 32-37 degrees. On Sunday, the weather in northern districts of Karakalpakstan will cool to 23-28 degrees.
In foothill and mountainous areas, short-term rain and thunderstorms are possible from time to time. Mudflows and floods may occur.
No precipitation is expected in Tashkent today, with temperatures reaching 37-39 degrees.
