Weather forecast for May in Uzbekistan

Uzhydromet has released the weather forecast for the period of May 10–12.

In the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the Khorezm region, the weather will be partly cloudy with no precipitation expected. Winds will blow from the east at speeds of 7–12 m/s. On May 11–12, wind speeds may increase to 13–18 m/s in some areas and may be accompanied by dust. Temperatures on May 10–11 will range from 15–20°C at night to 32–37°C during the day. On May 12, temperatures will rise to 17–22°C at night and 34–39°C during the day.

In the Bukhara and Navoi regions, the weather will also be partly cloudy, with no precipitation expected. Easterly winds will blow at 7–12 m/s, increasing to 13–18 m/s in some areas on May 11–12, potentially accompanied by dust. On May 10, temperatures will be 15–20°C at night and 30–35°C during the day. On May 11, nighttime temperatures will reach 17–22°C and daytime highs 32–37°C. On May 12, temperatures will remain at 17–22°C at night and rise to 34–39°C during the day.

In the Tashkent, Syrdarya, Jizzakh, and Samarkand regions, the weather will be slightly cloudy with no precipitation expected. Winds from the east will blow at 7–12 m/s. On May 12, wind speeds may rise to 13–18 m/s in some areas and may carry dust. Temperatures will be 15–20°C at night and 30–35°C during the day on May 10–11, increasing to 32–37°C on May 12.

In the Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions, slightly cloudy skies and dry weather are expected. Winds will blow from the east at 7–12 m/s. Temperatures will be 17–22°C at night and 32–37°C during the day on May 10–11, rising to 34–39°C on May 12.

In the Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana regions, the weather will be slightly cloudy with no precipitation forecast. Winds will blow from the east at 5–10 m/s. On May 10, temperatures will be 15–20°C at night and 28–33°C during the day. On May 11–12, daytime temperatures will rise to 30–35°C.

In the mountainous regions of the country, slightly cloudy weather is expected. On May 10–11, short-term rain and thunderstorms may occur in some areas. No precipitation is expected on May 12. Winds will shift from the west to the east at speeds of 7–12 m/s. Temperatures will be 10–15°C at night and 17–22°C during the day on May 10–11, rising to 20–25°C during the day on May 12.
