What weather is expected over the weekend?

Uzhydromet has released the weather forecast for the upcoming weekend.

According to the forecast, Uzbekistan will remain under the influence of a cold anticyclone during the day and night today. Daytime air temperatures are expected to range between minus 3 and 0 degrees Celsius.

On January 24, the cold anticyclone will gradually move away from Uzbekistan, and the influence of cold air masses will begin to weaken. Daytime temperatures are expected to be around 0 to plus 3 degrees Celsius.

On January 25, air temperatures will rise further. Nighttime temperatures will range from minus 3 to plus 2 degrees Celsius, while daytime temperatures will warm to between plus 5 and 8 degrees Celsius.

On January 24–25, wind speeds may increase to 15–20 meters per second in some areas across the country, with gusts occasionally reaching 22–25 meters per second.

In Tashkent, no precipitation is expected today or tomorrow. Fog may form at night and in the morning.
