Hundreds of fish died in the Chirchik River.

Social media posted a video of a large number of fish killed in the Chirchik River.  The person who made the video showed hundreds of dead fish lying on the bank of the stream. The State Committee on Ecology reacted to this situation.

«Regarding the video message about a large amount of dead fish in the Chirchik River», distributed on social networks, a working group of inspectors of the Goskomecology will conduct a study of the Chirchik river basin.

This situation will be clarified and additional information will be provided on the reasons and measures implemented», - said the committee.

Recall that at the beginning of this month it was reported that about 1,000 fish were killed in the section of the Zarashvan River flowing through the territory of the Karbinsk district of the Navoi region.  In total, 829 fish (486 carp, 113 carp, 121 som, 12 Turkestan moustache, 97 Samarkand cramules) were killed.
