Man stabs wife and mother-in-law in Chinaz

A 25-year-old man stabbed his wife and mother-in-law to death in the Tashkent region. This was reported by Hayot Shamsutdinov, the press secretary of the General Prosecutor's Office, in response to a request from QALAMPIR.UZ.

It is reported that the incident occurred on March 19 of this year at 8:00 p.m. in the Obihayot neighborhood of Chinaz district. K.A., born in 2000, who lived at 48 Boston Street, had a quarrel with his wife R.F., with whom he resided, due to jealousy. During the quarrel, he inflicted various injuries on the woman with a kitchen knife, deliberately killing her.

He also deliberately stabbed his mother-in-law, M.Sh., born in 1978, who had heard of the quarrel and came to separate her daughter, in various places with a kitchen knife, and also killed her.

In this case, the Chinaz District Prosecutor's Office has initiated a criminal case against the man under Article 97, Part 2, Subparagraphs "a" and "j" of the Criminal Code (Intentional Murder).

It should be recalled that earlier in Tashkent, when community activists tried to reconcile a woman who had been subjected to harassment and violence by her husband for 10 years, the woman was stabbed by her husband.
