Sharifbek Hasanov appointed as Waste Management Agency Director

Sharifbek Shamsiddinovich Hasanov has been appointed as the Director of the Waste Management and Circular Economy Development Agency under the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change of Uzbekistan. The Ministry of Ecology reported the appointment.
Sharifbek Hasanov, born in 1990 in the Bukhara region, earned his bachelor's degree from Cardiff Metropolitan University (UK) in 2013 and his master's degree from the University of Surrey (UK) in 2015.
Before this appointment, he held various positions in the Accounts Chamber, the Cabinet of Ministers, and other government agencies.
It is worth noting that on December 19, 2024, Leyli Pulatovna Seitova was appointed Minister of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
