Man caught hiding medicine on his body at the border

A citizen entering Uzbekistan through the Navoi border customs post in the Tashkent region was caught attempting to smuggle 100 units of medicine hidden around his waist. This was reported by the Tashkent Regional Customs Department.
According to the report, customs officers became suspicious of the citizen’s behavior as he was crossing into Uzbekistan from a neighboring country. A personal inspection revealed that he had concealed 100 vials of the drug "Actovegin" around his waist. The individual had not declared the medicine during the standard oral customs interview.
Customs authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
It is worth noting that a similar case was reported earlier at the same border post, where an individual was detained for attempting to smuggle gold by hiding it in his genitals.
