Fire in Bostanlyk extinguished after 6.5 hours

A fire that broke out on 2 hectares of dry grassland in the Bostanlyk district of Tashkent region was extinguished in nearly 6.5 hours. This was reported by the Tashkent Regional Department of Emergency Situations.
According to the report, on July 24 at 11:16 a.m., the Fire and Rescue Department received information about a fire involving dry grass and brushwood in the mountainous area of Khojakent mahalla (MFY), Bostanlyk district, covering approximately 2 hectares. Fire and rescue teams, along with staff from relevant organizations, arrived at the scene at 11:30 a.m.
Adequate resources and personnel, including a helicopter, were mobilized to combat the fire.
The blaze was localized by 12:30 p.m. and fully extinguished by 5:57 p.m.
It should be recalled that earlier, a fire broke out in a state nature reserve in Surkhandarya region, which was extinguished after nearly nine hours.
