On January 28, an avalanche occurred in the Chimgan area of Bostanlyk district in the Tashkent region. The information was reported by Uzhydromet.
According to the report, between 06:00 and 11:00, heavy precipitation in the Chimgan area triggered a single avalanche with a volume of approximately 300 cubic meters. No damage or casualties were reported.
Uzhydromet specialists stated that continuous monitoring of weather conditions in the area is currently underway.
It is worth recalling that Uzhydromet had earlier issued a warning about a high risk of avalanches in mountainous regions of the country due to precipitation and temperature fluctuations observed between January 27 and 30.
