A student from Bukhara stole 27.6 million soms from a safe

A student of a vocational school stole 27.6 million soms from a neighbor's house in the Zhondar district of the Bukhara region.  This was reported by Uzbek News Agency. 

It was found that the incident took place on 11 March this year in the house of a citizen living in the Kazokan neighborhood of Zhondar district.  An unknown person illegally entered the citizen's house between 19:00 p.m. and 23:00 p.m. on that day and opened the iron safe in his bedroom with a key.  As a result, he stole 27,600,000 soms from the safe and fled from the scene. 

In connection with this situation, a criminal case has been initiated against an unknown person by the district intelligence agency under the relevant article of the Criminal Code.  During the conducted operational and technical inquiry and investigative efforts, it was determined that this crime was committed by a resident of this neighborhood, born in 2006, a student of the 2nd level of the vocational school of the district. 

"Preliminary investigations and a rapid inquiry are currently underway to determine the involvement of this person in other similar unsolved crimes committed in other areas of the region," the report said.
