On May 23, a fire broke out at a propane gas filling station in the Olot district of Bukhara region, according to the regional emergency department.
The incident occurred at 21:15 at the "Siroj Servis" LLC propane station located in the “Jaykhunabad” mahalla. A flash reportedly occurred while gas was being filled into a Kamaz truck, which led to a fire. Emergency services dispatched two fire and rescue units to the scene, which arrived at 21:19. The blaze was fully extinguished by 21:40.
Fortunately, there was no explosion. However, the gas injection units and liquefied hydrocarbon gas on the vehicle were partially burned.
Preliminary reports indicate that several citizens who attempted to extinguish the fire sustained injuries. Their condition is currently reported to be stable, and they are under medical supervision. The fire is believed to have been caused by a violation of safety procedures during the gas-filling process.
It is worth noting that a similar incident occurred earlier at a gas station in Namangan district, Namangan region, where a fire broke out in a Jiguli car. No injuries were reported in that case, and the gas station building remained undamaged.
