Greenhouse stealing nearly 9 billion sums of natural gas in Bukhara was found (video)

A greenhouse that illegally used 8.85 billion sums worth of natural gas has been uncovered in the Kogon district of the Bukhara region. This was reported by "Hududgaztaminot" JSC.  

On November 27, a working group consisting of gas supply compliance control structures and law enforcement officers conducted a raid in the Kogon district. They discovered a case of unauthorized natural gas use. The investigation revealed that the "B.B." LLC greenhouse, located in the "Tutkun" neighborhood of the district, had bypassed the gas meter. Natural gas was illegally tapped from a pipeline meant for residential use via an underground pipe.  

A report was prepared regarding the incident, and a recalculation of gas consumption determined the damages amounted to 8.85 billion sums. All evidence and documents collected during the investigation are expected to be handed over to law enforcement agencies for legal assessment.  

We would like to remind readers that earlier in the Surkhandarya region, a methane "gas station" was found to have illegally connected to the gas network, resulting in the theft of 2.1 billion sums worth of natural gas.
