Cobalt car hits traffic police officer in Bukhara (video)

A Cobalt car struck a traffic police officer in the Jondor district of the Bukhara region. Hayot Shamsutdinov, the press secretary of the Prosecutor General's Office, provided a statement on the incident.

He confirmed that the prosecutor's office is conducting pre-investigation checks regarding the traffic accident involving the officer. "A legal decision will be made based on the results," Shamsutdinov said.

It is worth noting that this incident follows the tragic case on January 19, when traffic police inspector Jasurjon Muhammadov died after being struck by a car while on duty in the city of Navoi, Navoi region. A criminal case has been opened in this case.

Additionally, in the Fergana region, a 34-year-old Damas driver, driving under the influence of alcohol and at high speed, struck a cyclist. The driver then drove off in the opposite direction and hit a 5-year-old girl walking with her mother on the side of the road before fleeing the scene. The girl died in the hospital, and a 71-year-old man died at the scene.
