23 Shops Burn Down in Bukhara (Video)

A fire broke out in 23 shops located in the city of Bukhara, Bukhara region. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

It is noted that on August 1 of this year at 02:05 a.m., a fire broke out in a two-story shopping mall (in the vernacular, the old PMK shopping complex) located on the roadside of Ibn Sino Street in Bukhara. Eleven fire-rescue crews from the regional garrison and equipment of seven cooperative services were brought to the scene. Arriving at the fire site at 02:07 a.m., information was received about the burning of shops on an area of approximately 700 square meters, and it was completely extinguished at 03:11 a.m.

As a result of the fire, 15 two-story stores owned by business entities located on the side of Ibn Sina Street burned down, as well as the one-story store located in the central farmer's market of Bukhara at the same address. Goods and store equipment in eight shops (23 shops in total) in the trade pavilion were damaged.

No deaths or injuries were reported as a result of the fire.

"Regarding the fire, investigations are being carried out by the regional IIB and FVB until the investigation. A fire-technical expertise was appointed to determine the cause of the fire. Heads of the regional sector, FVB, heads of the National Guard, and other responsible leaders were brought to the scene," the report said.
