1.1 billion soums of electricity stolen in Bukhara

An LLC in Bukhara city was found to have illegally used electricity worth 1.1 billion soums, the Inspection for the Control of Electricity, Petroleum Products, and Gas Usage reported.
It was discovered that the current transformer meter device of the trade complex owned by “K.C.K” LLC had been tampered with, resulting in illegal electricity consumption.
As a result of the violation, the electricity supply company reportedly suffered losses amounting to 1.1 billion soums.
It was stated that pre-investigation inspections are currently being carried out by law enforcement agencies.
Earlier, it was revealed that a farming enterprise in Kattakurgan District, Samarkand region, had illegally used electricity worth 2.1 billion soums.
